Kuruvi hits silver screens from May 1st

Vijay’s Kuruvi, which is already making the right noise in Kollywood, is again in the news. For the movie is all set to hit screens on 1 May, the birthday of the actor’s closest competitor Ajit.

Director Dharani, Vijay, Trisha and music composer Vidyasagar, who came together to create a magic with Ghilli are back again for Kuruvi, the production venture of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s grandson Udayanidhi Stalin.

The audio release of the film will be held today in Chennai. Speaking about the movie, Dharani said Kuruvi was an all-out action- adventure laced with romance and family sentiment.

I have written the script keeping Vijay’s image in mind’. Meanwhile, news is that Kuruvi has become the hottest film in the trade. The Kerala theatrical rights were sold for Rs 1.50 crore. The latest is that Karnataka rights have gone in for a record Rs 1.20 crore.
